Sarah grew up in Northern Ireland and has lived in Arkansas since 2009.  She has an MA in English Literature from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, and originally connected to OLC as a tutor many years ago! As an immigrant herself, she empathizes with, and is always inspired by, the deep reserve of hope, courage and resilience OLC's students carry with them, as they work to gain not just knowledge in language, but a life with belonging and purpose in America.
