Volunteering

Would you like to get involved with a local agency that provides a valuable service to this area?

The Ozark Literacy Council may be just right for you. We are looking for volunteers for many areas of our program. We have long term, short term, and “anywhere in between” term opportunities for volunteering. Please take a look at the list of volunteer opportunities below and contact us if you are interested. We are always looking for help in these areas and training is provided.

Tutor Training

The Ozark Literacy Council needs your help. We are seeking volunteers to serve as adult basic literacy tutors and English as a second language (ESL) tutors for individuals of all levels. We offer workshop training as well as materials and staff support. Volunteering is very rewarding and great fun! Registration forms need to be submitted no later than one week prior to each workshop date.
