Dr. Todd Jenkins, Jr. was born and raised in Columbia, SC. He is a proud alumnus of The University of South Carolina where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received his B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. He earned his Master of Science from Illinois State University, Doctorate degree from University of Arkansas, and currently works for the College of Engineering at The University of Arkansas.  Throughout his undergraduate and professional career, Todd has served in various leadership roles and on multiple boards within higher education as well as in his community, both locally and internationally.

Additionally, Todd is the Founder and CEO of Bowtie Leadership & Development, Inc., a leadership management, coaching, and talent development training firm with a focus in bringing diverse people together to increase individual or organizational productivity and performance. He has a strong background in diversity, youth services, talent development, crucial conversations, and leadership development. He serves as a trainer, consultant, motivational speaker, life coach, and conversationalist.

Outside of work, he is active in his community, an international traveler, and spends his time enjoying family and friends. Today he is known by many as “Dr. Bowtie Todd” someone who engages, unravels, and connects to service and love for all mankind.
